Yuliia Vasik

With over two decades of teaching experience in translation and interpreting, she has designed and taught numerous courses in English-Ukrainian translation, focusing on both linguistic accuracy and the cultural depth of texts. She is particularly passionate about helping students develop sensitivity to nuance and context, and guiding them in rendering culturally specific concepts faithfully across languages. Her publications and textbooks examine lexical gaps, non-equivalence, and the pedagogy of teaching translation, particularly in the context of political and international relations discourse.
