Razvan Pop

is a historian, archaeologist and cultural manager based in Sibiu. He holds a PhD in history from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, where he currently teaches as a university lecturer. Since 2022 he has served as manager of ASTRA Sibiu County Library and since 2024 he has been President of the Zonal Commission of Historical Heritage, as well as a member of the National Commission for Historical Heritage and the National Library Commission.

His career spans through public administration and culture. He has served as General Director of the Romanian Copyright Office, State Counselor in the Romanian Government, Deputy Mayor of Sibiu and Executive Director of the Sibiu County Heritage Office. Earlier, he worked as personal counselor to the Ministers of Culture and Justice.
