Elena Castellano Ortolá

is associate lecturer in the Department of English and German Studies at the Universitat de València. A former postdoctoral fellow at the Université Bordeaux-Montaigne, she also collaborates regularly with this institution. Her main research interest lies in the discursive intersection between gender and translation, with a particular, feminist-driven emphasis on translators and history. Her last book, Agencies in Feminist Translator Studies, has appeared earlier this year, in the Routledge Advances in Translation and Interpreting collection. Besides taking care of courses on reverse and specialized translation, she has extensively taught LSP for different disciplines, including Software Engineering and Business.
