Carolyn Merchant

es profesora de Historia, filosofia y ética ambiental en la University of California, Berkeley. Miembro de History of Science Society desde 1962. Ha sido presidenta de la American Society for Environmental History y ha participado en los consejos asesores y de redacción de, entre otros, Environmental History, Environmental Ethics o Ethics and the Environment.
